Vodafone build their network based on demand to decrease the likelihood of you receiving a ‘network busy’ message. As for data… since the introduction of smartphones usage has gone through the roof, growing by an estimated 80% in the last year alone. What’s more we expect data to grow a further 80% next year as more and more people adopt 3G handsets.

Reliability

On average Vodafone carry 90 million calls, 84 million texts and 50 terabytes of data (equivalent to 12.5 million music downloads) a day across their network. These are transported by the UK’s only IP core network which vastly improves our reliability and resilience.

The emergency services rely on the UK’s mobile service to complete their mission-critical work. 72% of the public sector are on Vodafone.
